SafetyAvailable today
Three lanes and a safety lock. You decide where the line is.
Trust is the product. Every job is sorted before Nicobot touches it, and the lane decides whether it just does it, waits for you, or never acts on its own. These rules hold in every workspace, on every plan, for every role, including the owner.

Green: runs on its own
Research, price comparisons, drafts for you to read, summaries of your enquiries and private previews of a build. Nobody outside your business sees any of it, so a wrong draft or research note costs a few credits and nothing else.
Amber: held for your yes
Anything a customer will see: replies to leads, social posts, new pages and site changes, and campaigns. Nothing goes out until you read it, so a wrong reply is simply one you decline. Approve in the web app or tap Approve in the Telegram chat; both are recorded in your Ownerlane account. Your first campaign can't go out until a test copy has landed in your own inbox, and you can test any later one the same way.
Red: never automatic
Moving money in any direction, putting a site live, exporting customer data and deleting anything. Nicobot can prepare these for you to look at, but you confirm them twice: tap, read what becomes public, then hold for a second. Never from a notification, and never by voice. Nicobot cannot buy its own credits.
When Nicobot isn't sure
If it doesn't know your hours or your prices, it pauses and asks rather than inventing them. At zero credits it stops and tells you; it finishes nothing halfway and never fails quietly. If a job went wrong and wasted credits, ask for them back from Plan & billing; a person reviews every request.
The safety lock: some things Nicobot won't do.
Nobody can switch it off, not even the owner. Malware, abuse or cloning requests that could harm people or other businesses are refused before the job is even sorted into a lane.
Your keys and your data
A key you paste is checked with the provider, then sealed in the vault. Nobody at Ownerlane can read it, and it's never shown again, only the last four characters. Secrets never go through chat. On GitHub, Nicobot opens pull requests you approve; it never pushes to your default branch and never merges. On Stripe it can create payment links and see payments, but can't refund, pay out or move money.
You and the people you invite into your workspace can see your customer data. Ownerlane staff can see billing, credit use and activity counts to run the service; they don't see your conversations or your customers' details. Only an owner or admin can approve.
On a call in the iPhone app (in beta), Nicobot says it's an AI at the start, and nothing on the red lane can happen from a call alone. Details are in the Privacy Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy.
